2012 Finn US Nationals

October 11-14, 2012

Sail Sheboygan is proud to host the 2012 U.S. Finn Nationals October 11-14, 2012. An annual event, the Finn Nationals will bring top competitors from across the country to compete for three days of racing. The Finn is a singlehanded dinghy known for demanding both physical and mental agility from its skipper. Designed in 1949 by Rickard Sarby for the 52’ Olympics, it is the longest serving dinghy for the games representing the heavyweight class.

The 2011 U.S. Finn Nationals was hosted by the Alamitos Bay Yacht Club with a turnout of 32 boats representing five countries. Taking first place was Zach Railey from Clearwater, Florida.
